32 And Esau said, Lo, I am almost dead, what is then this [a]birthright to me?

33 Jacob then said, Swear to me even now. And he swear to him, (A)and [b]sold his birthright unto Jacob.

34 Then Jacob gave Esau bread and pottage of lentils: and he did eat and drink, and rose up, and went his way: So Esau contemned his birthright.
